Guardrails & Edge Protection

Passive edge protection is the first line of defense at any open edge — it works without the worker having to do anything. SkyHigh designs, fabricates and installs guardrail systems for roofs, mezzanines, loading docks and equipment platforms across Western Canada.

We build non-penetrating, counter-weighted guardrails that sit on the roof surface without puncturing the membrane — ideal for delicate or warrantied roof assemblies. Where a permanent anchored rail is preferred, we fabricate and mount fixed top- and side-mount railings engineered to your parapet, deck or wall condition.

Every run is laid out to your building, hot-dip galvanized or powder-coated to suit the environment, and can be supplied with toe boards, self-closing gates and access points as required. For docks and flatbed-loading areas we also build forklift-rated guardrails that fold down out of the way when not in use.
